The Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Manager (ALS or BCLS) to join our Major Projects Group. In this role, you will lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across Oil & Gas, Pipelines, and Renewable Energy sectors. This is a dynamic and high-visibility position where you will play a key role in client engagement, project execution, and strategic growth. You’ll be at the forefront of expanding Global Raymac’s presence while contributing to innovative solutions in the geomatics space.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the full lifecycle of major projects, including scope, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
- Navigate and apply AER and/or BCER regulatory frameworks with confidence
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, identifying new opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Support and influence the development and integration of new technologies
- Provide mentorship and leadership to team members, contributing to a strong and capable workforce
- This role offers a pathway to operational leadership as this sector continues to grow
What You Bring
- ALS or BCLS designation (required)
- Degree in Geomatics Engineering or a Technical Diploma from a recognized institution
- 5+ years of Project Manager experience in the energy sector, with knowledge of AER and/or BCER processes
- Proven ability to lead projects, make decisions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of business principles and how to apply them to project delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with survey equipment, software, and modern technologies
