About the Role

You will take a central role in building the foundations that make high-quality testing possible in a large organization with a complex IT ecosystem. In this role, test data and test environments are critical enablers for faster delivery, better quality, and smoother collaboration across teams. You will work across development, testing, product, and infrastructure to remove bottlenecks and create a more scalable, reliable QA setup.

Job Description

  • You will own and evolve the approach to test data and test environments across teams and initiatives.
  • You will make sure test teams have reliable, representative, and fit-for-purpose data and environments when they need them.
  • You will collaborate with developers, testers, product teams, infrastructure, and other stakeholders to remove testability bottlenecks.
  • You will contribute to and drive QA initiatives, standards, processes, and best practices across the organization.
  • You will help shape the overall test strategy and quality engineering ways of working.
  • You will identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and continuous improvement.
  • You will take a pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex testing and testability challenges.

Requirements

  • You have strong experience in test data management and test environment management.
  • You have a broad understanding of software quality and testing.
  • You understand modern QA practices and the challenges of testing in large organizations and complex IT ecosystems.
  • You have experience working with SaaS, PaaS and on-prem systems.
  • You have experience applying Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to improve QA efficiency.
  • You have experience provisioning on-demand synthetic test data.
  • You communicate fluently in Swedish and have good knowledge of English.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with ERP.
  • Experience with scripting, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, APIs, databases, or other development technologies.
  • You can code and enjoy helping build solutions, not only identifying improvement opportunities.
