Job Description:
The Senior Java Developer will play a key role in the development, support, and modernization of strategic Currency and Overlay Management platforms within the Investment Management business. The role involves partnering with business and technology teams to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, develop high-quality applications, and support critical business processes.
Responsibilities include end-to-end application delivery covering requirements analysis, solution design, full-stack development, testing, system integration, production support, enhancements, performance optimization, and defect remediation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based enterprise application development, with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API development, and modern UI technologies. The individual will contribute to ongoing application modernization initiatives, helping transform legacy platforms into scalable, cloud-ready, and event-driven architectures while improving automation, resiliency, and user experience.
The candidate should demonstrate a strong interest in learning both technical and business aspects of currency management, overlay strategies, and investment management workflows. Success in this role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, architects, developers, operations teams, and cross-functional technology partners.
