Job Summary
As a Senior DevOps Engineer on core software development team, apply technical expertise in driving the design and automation of processes to support continuous delivery of .NET applications and services.
This individual needs experience leading implementations of DevOps initiatives and be hands-on with various DevOps tools with emphasis on Azure DevOps Tool experience.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction in the design and implementation of continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD) processes in the form of a pipeline for the delivery of software across the enterprise – with an emphasis on .NET application delivery.
- Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of supporting CI/CD infrastructure.
- Define and lead implementation of best practices for CI/CD across the full SDLC.
- Provide mentorship to other team members.
- Lead work groups formed by several disparate teams.
- Support internal customers in the CI/CD lifecycle.
- Work closely with multiple teams in an agile environment.
- Work within a larger context collaborating across technologies to maximize DevOps tool synergy.
Required Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related technical field.
Work Experience
- At least 5 years of IT experience as a combination of software development and release or build engineering in large enterprises.
- At least 2 years Development Operations (DevOps) Engineering experience beyond the use of release processes and into the actual design, development, implementation, and definition of best practices for CI/CD processes.
- Experience integrating stages into a CD pipeline.
- CI experience with the Azure DevOps tool chain.
- Experience with integrating Azure DevOps tools with Slack, JIRA, Confluence, GIT/BitBucket, and Artifactory.
- Experience utilizing APIs to integrate CI, testing, and deployments of systems across the SDLC.
- Experience demonstrating understanding of modern IT infrastructure components and their integrations.

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Annual
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
