Join a Warsaw-based Data Governance team that helps protect the firm’s data by ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time. This is a hands-on, operational role where accuracy, pace, and judgement matter. You will work closely with partners across lines of business, Corporate Functions, and Technology to support strong access controls and audit readiness. As a Data Access Management - Analyst in the Data Governance team, you will review and process user access requests, support periodic access recertification, and help maintain an audit-ready control environment. You will play a key role in improving the accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of access governance processes across applications containing confidential data. You will work independently on a high-volume workload while partnering closely with stakeholders to resolve exceptions and support control enhancements.
Job responsibilities
- Process user access requests (add/modify/remove) for applications containing confidential data, validate completeness, document outcomes, and maintain an audit-ready evidence trail
- Support periodic user access recertification activities in line with established controls and timelines
- Manage a high-volume operational workload with strong attention to detail, prioritizing items based on deadlines and risk
- Escalate exceptions promptly and follow documented procedures to resolution
- Maintain and update detailed User Access Request Guides for the team
- Support access governance improvements (entitlement clean-up, process standardization, tooling enhancements, automation) through data preparation, validation, and user testing support
- Compile and quality-check evidence packs for internal/external audits and stakeholder requests
- Partner with Technology to identify and control applications being added to the application inventory
- Contribute to global, regional, and local initiatives that strengthen governance and access management controls
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
- Professional experience in Banking and Financial Services
- Ownership mindset with the ability to drive issues through to resolution
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including adapting detail to different audiences
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative stakeholder relationships
- Strong teamwork, partnering, and influencing skills
- Analytical and investigative approach with problem-solving and process-improvement capability
- Strong attention to detail, including maintaining accurate records and audit-ready evidence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including access controls, entitlement certification, and user access removal
