Based in Milan but supporting our SaaS division in Germany, we are looking for a full-time employee in the Applications Operations team to start as soon as possible.

Job descripiton:
- You will be responsible for our SaaS OBS environments and the operation of various interfaces to and from OBS (Objectway Banking Suite)
- You monitor and control the daily and end-of-day processing
- You provide our software for our customers and support them with our releases
- You will work closely with the core banking development team, project management and client support teams
- You will help to ensure compliance with SLAs, internal and customer specifications and legal requirements
- You coordinate tests and in some cases carry them out yourself
Required Skills:
- Completed studies or equivalent practical IT/banking training
- Solid knowledge of the administration of Windows server and Linux operating systems
- Solid knowledge in SQL (ANSI) and experience with ORACLE DB-administration
- Experience in dealing with data centres (e.g. setting up and operating infrastructures)
- Solid knowledge in Shell-scripting and experience in one or more programming languages (Python, Perl, C, C++ or Java)
- Experience in IT support, software packaging and software delivery systems
- Understanding and knowledge of automation, continuous integration and build tools
- Experience with service desk tools such as Jira, TopDesk, Confluence etc
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent practice is desirable
- Excellent problem solving skills and customer orientated approach to work
- Strong team and communication skills and a structured way of working
- Ability to collaborate with cross-site, functional teams
- Organisational skills and the ability to work under time pressure
- Agile mindset and experience with agile methods such as Jira and Confluence to support daily work
- Experience in project work
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office products
- Fluent English and good German language skills are also desirable
- Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours or on weekends to complete special tasks

- The salary range for this position is €35,000 – €45,000.
This compensation complies with the pay transparency requirements set out in EU Directive 2023/970.
