Job Description
Imagine leading the electrical design and execution for large-scale industrial expansion projects. As an Electrical Manager, you'll drive innovation and ensure compliance with industry standards in a dynamic, global environment.
As our Electrical Project Manager, you'll oversee electrical design and implementation within the Global Workplace Projects organization, supporting expansion efforts in manufacturing sites based in Virginia and Monterrey, Mexico. You'll coordinate activities between engineering, design, and construction teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant project execution. Your role will involve managing timelines, supplier relationships, and ensuring adherence to approved designs, LEGO standards, and international codes.
Leadership Responsibilities
· Manage weekly technical meetings with PMs, designers, and general contractors.
· Supervise design quality and resource utilization, escalating issues as needed.
· Ensure integration of BMS, IT, and Sustainability requirements into electrical design.
Functional Responsibilities
· Oversee design work, ensuring compliance with LEGO standards and risk management guidelines.
· Mandate to stop any activity where a "safety first" mindset is not applied.
· Review compliance matrices and provide formal reviews during milestone assessments.
· Propose, review, and approve manufacturers in specifications.
· Ensure value engineering is considered throughout the project lifecycle.
· Oversee quality of installations on site and coordinate technical layouts with factory standards.
Stakeholder Management
· Act as a technical liaison with key LEGO stakeholders (MD&I, IT, Security, WS&O).
· Involve stakeholders for alignment and decisions needed for engineering delivery.
Communication
· Ensure learnings and inputs from projects flow back to the department and standard owner.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Experience in electrical design and project management.
· Experience with large industrial expansion projects, including greenfield and brownfield.
· Strong relationship management with general contractors and our LEGO suppliers.
· Understanding of local and international electrical design standards.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with high voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV), and low voltage (LV) distribution systems.
· Familiarity with power systems, monitoring systems, and industrial manufacturing.
· Experience in global construction and commissioning processes.
· Knowledge of international codes/standards (IEC, NFPA, IEEE, NEC, ISO).

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $104,327.00 - $156,491.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
