Ciklum is looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our team full-time in Bulgaria.

As a Senior Delivery Manager, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all core Scrum events (Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
- Clear team dependencies and coach the team to resolve blockers independently
- Partner with BAs, Solution Architects, and Tech Leads to streamline project delivery
- Build trust and manage expectations across a wide range of stakeholders
- Create and maintain progress dashboards and key performance metrics
- Set clear priorities, set team expectations, and drive continuous process improvements
- Support the team in keeping the backlog refined and prioritized
- Maintain a productive, positive working environment under high-pressure conditions
- Manage team onboarding and offboarding as project needs shift
Requirements:
- Build effective working relationships with client counterparts to support project execution and day-to-day coordination
- Define and manage project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resources
- Estimate, plan, and adjust project activities from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones are met
- Track and report project progress, risks, and financials to internal stakeholders and clients using established tools and processes
- Proactively identify and escalate risks or blockers, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions
- Coordinate team ramp-up and onboarding, ensuring alignment with recruitment and delivery setup
- Apply and maintain delivery best practices in tools, processes, and communication flows (e.g. using PRODIGY templates)
- Monitor changing client requirements and raise improvement opportunities or service adjustments to senior delivery leads
- Monitor and support team performance to ensure motivation, accountability, and delivery consistency
- Prepare and present project documentation, including reports, dashboards, and meeting materials
- Contribute feedback and suggestions to improve internal processes, tools, and delivery practices across the organization
- Participate in pre-sales and support the creation of delivery proposals that align with client needs and Ciklum’s capabilities
- 4+ years of experience in IT project delivery, coordination, or team management
- Experience managing or coordinating teams 20+ FTEs
- Exposure to scope control, scheduling, and team coordination
- Skills & Knowledge:• Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and general Agile delivery lifecycles
- Working knowledge of software development lifecycle and ability to monitor delivery progress (e.g. Scrum burndown chart, Gantt diagram)
- Agile Tools: Azure DevOps (preferably) proficiency for tracking and backlog management
- Reporting: Hands-on experience creating project dashboards and delivery metrics
- Technical Aptitude: Technical background or equivalent experience working alongside dev teams
- Communication: Strong explanation skills and ability to communicate with technical (mostly) and non-technical stakeholders effectively
- Conflict resolution: Proven ability to resolve team conflicts
- Execution: Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities in high-pressure environments
- Resilience: High stress resistance and composure under demanding conditions
- Working knowledge of team ramp-up, resourcing plans, and staffing
- Intermediate English (B2+) for written and verbal communication
Desirable:
- Good to have skills & knowledge:
- Familiarity with contract types (SOW, MSA) and how they affect delivery terms
- Basic financial literacy, including gross margin, rate cards, headcount allocation, and budget forecasting
- Big plus:
- Experience with AzDO or experience in advanced setup of any task tracking tool for the project
- SAFe certification or experience with it
- Scrum certification
- Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s/Master's in IT, Business, or a similar field
- Agile certification recommended (Scrum Master or ICAgile)
- Foundations in project management methodologies (PMI CAPM or similar) are a plus
