The Business Systems Solutions Analyst is responsible for supporting business processes and system solutions across assigned functional areas. This position evaluates current processes and technologies to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement solutions that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the internal expert of processes and solutions within Risk and HSE teams
  • Collaboratively identify areas for process and solution improvements
  • Work collaboratively with IT project managers on large projects
  • Takes ownership of projects, maintaining a high level of interaction with end users to communicate status updates and deadlines
  • Learn to configure purchased solutions to expand the capability of the solution
  • Create documentation for applications or customizations that are implemented

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, 3-5 years of related and/or operational experience, or an equivalent combination
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a liaison between IT and another business focus, or experience working on large, cross-functional projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Competent with Microsoft Visio and Project
  • Familiar with project management fundamentals (desired)
  • Familiar with reporting: SQL, Crystal, Dashboards, Pivot charts (desired)
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
