We are looking for an experienced DevOps Consultant to support and drive a migration from Azure DevOps Server (on-premises/TFS) to GitHub Enterprise, with a strong emphasis on designing and implementing production-ready GitHub Actions workflows.
The assignment involves modernizing CI/CD pipelines across a diverse application landscape, including:
.NET APIs deployed to OpenShift/Kubernetes Windows-based client applications IIS/Windows Server applications Internal NuGet package publishing
This is a hands-on role combining analysis, design, and implementation, where practical experience building, troubleshooting, and improving GitHub Actions workflows is essential.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze existing Azure DevOps build and release pipelines Design, implement, and troubleshoot GitHub Actions workflows for building, test, packaging, and deployment scenarios Translate existing Azure DevOps pipeline logic into maintainable GitHub Actions workflows Migrate repositories, pipelines, and deployment processes to GitHub Set up GitHub Environments, secrets, and runner strategies Ensure reliable build, packaging, and deployment flows Contribute to standardization and reusable CI/CD templates Supporting the team during migration and onboarding
Skills:
Required Skills
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows in real delivery environments Strong understanding of GitHub Enterprise, including repositories, environments, secrets, permissions, and runner strategies Solid background in Azure DevOps / TFS pipelines Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, MSBuild, and PowerShell Experience with Windows-based builds and deployments Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and pipeline design
Nice to Have: Experience with Kubernetes / OpenShift Familiarity with IIS and Windows Server deployments Experience with Artifactory or similar artifact repositories Knowledge of SonarQube and code quality tooling Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
