Your tasks
- Design, implement and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS
- Collaborate with our Ruby/Elixir backend team to containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes
- Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Grafana/Prometheus
- Ensure the security of our environments by following best practices and implementing security controls
- Automate Kubernetes deployment and management processes using Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi
- Maintain service communication using Linkerd
- Integrate application dependencies like RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Snowflake, DynamoDB
- Help plan and take ownership of deploying and maintaining our internal tools
- Deal with the challenges of an established and continuously growing project
Your profile
- Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role (e.g. DevOps engineer with Kubernetes focus)
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs
- Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration
- Enjoy problem solving and have a keen eye for details
- Thrive in a small, agile team environment
- Love giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Independent, precise, and well-organized work style
- Enjoy to share knowledge and learn
- Driven by the challenge of delivering high-performance and scalable solutions
- Proficient in English; speaking German is a plus
