Accountabilities: As an Associate Principal Engineer, you will take ownership of designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications while contributing to architecture, engineering standards, and technical excellence. You will work closely with multiple teams to create scalable solutions, improve system reliability, and drive continuous improvement.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend applications using Angular.

• Build robust REST APIs, business services, integrations, and customer-facing product features.

• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, technical planning, and solution implementation.

• Apply strong engineering principles including object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean architecture, and secure coding practices.

• Develop clean, maintainable, testable, and high-quality code following software engineering best practices.

• Implement secure development practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, and OWASP security guidelines.

• Review and improve code quality, application architecture, maintainability, performance, and scalability.

• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to reliability, security, performance, and distributed systems.

• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, debugging activities, and root cause analysis.

• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve coding efficiency, testing, refactoring, documentation, and engineering productivity.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, Designers, and Platform teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Support testing, deployment activities, production releases, and ongoing application improvements.

• Promote engineering excellence through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced software engineer with strong full-stack development expertise and a proven ability to design and deliver complex enterprise applications. You should have strong technical depth, architectural skills, and experience collaborating within agile engineering environments.

• 11+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, or related technical roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.

• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack applications.

• Strong expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and enterprise-grade web applications.

• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, design patterns, clean architecture, and data structures.

• Experience with system design, technical decomposition, architecture decisions, and solution implementation.

• Strong ability to write clean, readable, maintainable, and testable code.

• Experience addressing application performance, scalability, reliability, and security challenges.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing, debugging, code reviews, and root cause analysis.

• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools for code generation, testing, refactoring, and documentation.

• Strong understanding of secure software development practices and application security principles.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with experience working alongside multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
