[What the role is]

EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER, INNOVATION & ANALYTICS

[What you will be working on]

  • Be part of the team that oversees innovation projects and advanced technologies to seek new solutions to enhance the reliability, performance and sustainability of traffic and roads operations, road assets and related road facilities.
  • Manage innovation projects from conception to implementation, overseeing applied research initiatives and product development programmes, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring deliverables meet tech & ops requirements.
  • Be part of the team to develop strategies for scaling successful trial projects to wider implementation, including stakeholder coordination, resource planning, and change management processes.
  • To keep abreast of advancements in smart technologies, sustainability, big data and other intelligent tools and frameworks to enhance existing road operations and asset management practices.
  • To work with various internal divisions within LTA, external government agencies, academia, consultants and vendors, in the exploration to leverage technologies to ensure our road network and assets are operated and managed effectively.

[What we are looking for]

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Material Science, or other related technical fields;
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in operations and management of assets, project management, technology product development;
  • Possess strong problem-solving ability;
  • Self-motivated, adaptable & possess strong sense of responsibility;
  • Able to work independently and a good team player;
  • Good writing, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Experience in or good knowledge of the following will be an added advantage:
  • Various civil construction materials such as asphalt, reinforced concrete, steel, etc;
  • Automation, sensor application, applied AI for asset management
  • Understanding of project lifecycle management and stakeholder coordination
  • Experience with research methodologies and technology evaluation processes
