Operations Systems Analyst - Electronic Warfare

JOB LOCATION: Dahlgren, VA

JOB STATUS: Full Time

Clearance: Secret

SALARY: $110,000 to $145,000

Astrion has an opening for an Operations Systems Analyst – Electronic Warfare (EW) supporting U.S. Navy Electronic Warfare Systems and the Softkill Coordination Subsystem (SKCS) program located in Dahlgren, VA.

REQUIRED SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Eight (8) years of experience, or equivalent, in threat-system analysis and/or operation of U.S. Navy Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Must hold an active DoD Secret security clearance and be able to maintain it.
  • Demonstrated experience with Electronic Maneuver Warfare systems and operations, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, and development of Electronic Warfare gaps and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of systems development, integration, and testing.
  • Experience developing or reviewing technical documentation, including CONOPS, CONEMP, TTPs, and SOPs.
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an integrated technical team.
  • Must be able to work on-site at Naval Support Facility Dahlgren five days per week.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Familiarity with adversary threat systems, red-force tactics and kill chains, blue-force OPLANs, and Fleet operations.
  • Experience supporting Navy Electronic Warfare or Information Operations programs.
  • Experience leading large technical meetings, workshops, or conferences.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience supporting Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform integration and testing activities supporting U.S. Navy AN/SLQ-32(V)6 and (V)7 Electronic Warfare systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures for product testing, evaluate test results, and recommend design or production changes to improve system quality and performance.
  • Support threat-system analysis and operational assessments involving Electronic Warfare and Information Operations.
  • Apply knowledge of adversary threat systems, tactics, kill chains, Fleet operations, blue-force OPLANs, and Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations.
  • Support development and assessment of Electronic Warfare gaps, capabilities, CONOPS, CONEMP, TTPs, SOPs, and related technical documentation.
  • Support developmental and operational test and evaluation activities.
  • Organize and facilitate technical meetings, workshops, and conferences with Government, Fleet, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Work within Agile development and integration environments and collaborate closely with technical and operational teams.
