This is a remote position.
If you enjoy shaping how field technicians, dispatch teams, and operations leaders work every day, this role puts you at the center of a major digital transformation. You’ll help a regulated utility modernize its workforce systems by moving from legacy ClickSoftware tools to SAP Field Service Management (FSM) and SAP Service & Asset Manager (SSAM).
You’ll partner directly with business users, translate real operational workflows into clean SAP functional designs, and influence how the entire field service ecosystem operates going forward.
What You’ll Work On
- Lead blueprinting workshops with dispatch, field crews, and operations leadership to map real-world field workflows.
- Convert business rules into structured functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Align field operations with SAP PM and IS‑U, ensuring asset, billing, and maintenance data flow cleanly across the enterprise.
- Configure SAP FSM and guide functional testing, partnering closely with business teams during UAT.
- Serve as the functional bridge between legacy ClickSoftware logic and modern SAP field service architecture.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Utility Operations Experience (5+ years): You understand regulated environments, field safety, emergency response, and dispatch priorities.
- Legacy ClickSoftware Knowledge: Experience with ClickSchedule, ClickMobile, or CFSE scheduling logic.
- SAP FSM / SSAM Exposure: Hands-on functional configuration or deployment experience.
- Strong Business-Facing Skills: Blueprinting, requirements gathering, facilitation — no coding required.
- Hybrid Work Style: Comfortable working remotely with monthly on-site collaboration in Irvine.
