Starr & Associates is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple client initiatives across AI innovation, technology, supply chain, and business transformation. The role requires strong end to end project delivery experience, the ability to manage several projects at the same time, and experience coordinating cross functional teams and senior stakeholders. Candidates should have experience managing or supporting AI, data, analytics, automation, or other innovation initiatives. Experience supporting Supply Chain initiatives such as Control Tower, planning, inventory visibility, manufacturing, supplier management, logistics, or operational analytics is highly desirable. Experience in MedTech, medical devices, life sciences, or other regulated industries is preferred but not required. Consulting or professional services experience is a plus. Candidates must currently live in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation through delivery, maintaining clear accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and outcomes.
· Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, work plans, dependency maps, RAID logs, decision logs, and governance routines.
· Coordinate cross functional teams across business, technology, data, analytics, AI, supply chain, operations, and external partners to keep delivery aligned and on schedule.
· Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, steering committee reviews, and executive status discussions with clear actions, decisions, and follow through.
· Manage client and internal stakeholders, clarify priorities and expectations, and communicate progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions in a concise manner.
· Manage resource plans, competing priorities, project financials, change requests, and delivery forecasts as appropriate for each engagement.
· Identify risks and issues early, lead resolution planning, escalate when needed, and maintain ownership through closure.
· Support program level planning across related initiatives, including roadmaps, cross project dependencies, consolidated status, shared resource considerations, and coordination across multiple workstreams.
· Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches and support Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives when appropriate.
· Lead or support AI and innovation projects through use case identification, discovery, pilot planning, proof of concept delivery, testing, stakeholder adoption, deployment, and transition to sustained operations.
· Manage Supply Chain and operational transformation initiatives that may include Control Tower solutions, supply and demand planning, inventory visibility, supplier collaboration, manufacturing or production operations, logistics, and analytics.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
· Bachelor's degree required in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, Technology, or a related discipline.
· 7+ years of professional project management experience, including responsibility for multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
· Demonstrated experience managing complex cross functional initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders.
· Experience managing or supporting AI, data, analytics, automation, or other innovation projects from discovery through delivery or pilot deployment.
· Experience with Agile delivery methods and familiarity with traditional and hybrid project management approaches.
· Program management experience or coordination of related projects and workstreams is strongly preferred.
· This is a hybrid role. Candidates must currently reside in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Regular in-office work and travel to client sites are expected.
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Project planning, schedule and scope management, budgeting, resource planning, RAID management, change control, and executive reporting.
· Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, decision management, and cross functional team coordination.
· Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices, Waterfall delivery, and hybrid project delivery models.
· Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, and Miro.
· Ability to use AI enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve planning, documentation, analysis, and communication.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Experience managing AI, generative AI, automation, advanced analytics, or digital innovation initiatives.
· Experience managing Supply Chain initiatives involving Control Tower, planning, inventory, manufacturing, suppliers, logistics, or end to end visibility.
· Experience within MedTech, medical devices, life sciences, healthcare, or another regulated industry.
· Prior management consulting or professional services experience in a client facing delivery role.
· Program management, portfolio governance, or multi project delivery experience. PMP, PgMP, CSM, SAFe, or comparable certification is a plus
