Within Core Commerce, the Offers Platform is the backbone of Microsoft's commercial go-to-market engine, enabling the business to define what is being sold and for whom it is intended and enabling customers and partners to discover the right solutions across channels and clouds.
In the era of AI, translating product innovation into offers that meet evolving customer needs is mission-critical to Microsoft's commercial success. As an Offers Product Manager, you will envision and deliver intelligent "Build Once - Benefit All" platform capabilities that create reusable value across multiple lines of business, channels, and clouds.
This role requires you to be onsite 3 days a week in Microsoft’s offices in Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, customers, and internal users to uncover stated and unstated needs, develop customer empathy, and define clear scenarios, outcomes, and success measures.
- Translate business and customer needs into high-quality product and capability specifications, using data, market insights, and sound judgment to clarify priorities, tradeoffs, dependencies, and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering and cross-functional partners to deliver secure, compliant, accessible, and foundational platform capabilities that accrue value across businesses, channels, and clouds.
- Create a virtuous loop of delivery, adoption, measurement, and feedback; use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve customer outcomes and iterate on capabilities.
- Build and continuously refine the product vision and roadmap by incorporating the voice of the customer, industry trends, platform strategy, and business priorities, and conduct periodic business reviews with leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, software engineering, or equivalent experience delivering technology products, services, or platform capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize investments, manage dependencies, and drive cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery and adoption.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clarity, articulate customer and business outcomes, and influence stakeholders across disciplines and levels.
- A growth mindset and intellectual curiosity, with a demonstrated ability to learn new skills and domains, seek feedback, and adapt based on evidence and changing customer needs.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
