About the Opportunity:

CarltonOne is seeking a talented and user-focused UX Designer to help shape the future of our digital products and experiences. This role is responsible for understanding user needs, designing intuitive workflows, and creating engaging experiences across web and mobile platforms.

The UX Designer will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA, Business Stakeholders, and Customers to research, design, and validate solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction. This role combines creativity, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of user-centered design principles to ensure CarltonOne delivers best-in-class experiences across its global platform.

Responsibilities:

User Research & Discovery

  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, analytics, and stakeholderworkshops.
  • Develop user personas, journey maps, workflows, and experience models to better understand customer needs and behaviors.
  • Identifypain points, opportunities, and usability challenges within existing and new products.
  • Translate business requirements and customer feedback into actionable design insights.

UX Design & Prototyping

  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and interaction designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Design intuitive end-to-end user experiences that align with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Simplify complex workflows and processes whilemaintainingfunctionality and scalability.
  • Validate designs through testing and iterative feedback cycles.

Product & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Managers to define user requirements and prioritize design initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure designs arefeasible, scalable, and implemented accurately.
  • Work with QA teams tovalidateuser experience and ensure design quality throughout development.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

Design Systems & Consistency

  • Contribute to and maintainCarltonOne'sdesign system, UX standards, and design patterns.
  • Promote consistency and usability across all customer-facing products and experiences.
  • Establish and advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and design governance processes.

Usability Testing & Continuous Improvement

  • Plan andfacilitateusability testing sessions and user feedback programs.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data tomeasure experienceeffectiveness.
  • Monitor product usage and customer feedback toidentifyopportunities for optimization.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user insights and businessobjectives.

Accessibility & Inclusive Design

  • Ensure products meet accessibility and usability standards, including WCAG guidelines whereappropriate.
  • Advocate for inclusive design practices that support diverse user needs and global audiences.
  • Incorporate accessibility considerations throughout the design process.

Innovation & Customer Experience

  • Stay informed on UX trends, emerging technologies, AI-enhanced experiences, and industry best practices.
  • Bring innovative ideas and recommendations that enhance customer engagement and product adoption.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, ora relatedfield.
  • Strong portfoliodemonstratinguser-centered design methodologies and successful product outcomes.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, and design specifications.
  • Proficiencywith modern design tools such as:
  • Figma
  • Sketch
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Miro
  • Understandinguser research, usability testing, and design thinking methodologies.
  • Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent design initiatives in a fast-paced, agile product environment
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted design tools (e.g., Claude Design, Figma Make) to rapidly prototype and iterate.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development environments.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience working with design systems andcomponentlibraries.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Experience using analytics and user behavior tools to guide design decisions.
