Role summary:

We are looking for a Python Engineer to join a global project focused on developing and enhancing scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of reliable software solutions, working closely with international teams in a collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys backend development, API integrations, and modern cloud technologies.

Your Profile:

• Commercial experience with Python development.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining REST APIs.

• Experience working with Flask, FastAPI, Django, or Gunicorn.

• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Familiarity with authentication and security concepts (google-auth, cryptography, oauthlib, requests-oauthlib).

• Experience implementing application monitoring and observability using OpenTelemetry API, OpenTelemetry SDK, OpenTelemetry Instrumentation (Flask, Requests).

• Experience with data processing and file handling using xlrd, xlwt, simplejson.

• Familiarity with utility libraries such as requests, PyYAML, jsonschema

• Understanding of software development best practices and clean code principles.

• Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) would be a strong advantage.

• English level: Upper-intermediate.

Your Tasks:

• Develop and maintain backend applications and microservices using Python.

• Design, build, and support RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

• Work with SQL databases, ensuring data quality and efficient query performance.

• Integrate internal and external systems through APIs and cloud-based services.

• Support authentication and security implementations following established standards and best practices.

• Participate in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and bug fixing activities.

• Contribute to application monitoring, logging, and observability initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Participate in code reviews and Agile development processes.
