CTG is seeking to fill an Azure Cloud Application Architect – Microservices & Cloud Native position for our client.

Location: Armonk, NY Duration: 6 months

Duties:

  • Lead solution architecture, project delivery, and client-facing technical activities.
  • Design and implement Azure cloud-native, API, microservices, and omnichannel architectures.
  • Map existing applications and functionality to appropriate Azure services.
  • Define cloud migration strategies and ensure successful transition to Azure.
  • Evaluate Azure services, including benefits, limitations, and appropriate use cases.

Skills:

  • Azure Cloud architecture and services
  • Microservices and API architecture
  • Cloud-native development
  • Containers and serverless computing
  • Node.js, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or Netflix OSS
  • JavaScript, Angular.js, and CSS preferred

Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing Node.js, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or Netflix OSS.
  • Strong experience with Azure, microservices, APIs, containers, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience communicating technical solutions and Azure benefits to clients.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
