Overview
Conducts and participates in activities including, but not limited to the project-centric tasks associated with deployment of all hospital information technology.
Responsibilities
- Supports activities throughout all phases of a project - design, development, build, testing, training, activation and support of all hospital information technology.
- Assists in all project communications efforts in support of full execution of approved communications strategy.
- Assists all project change enablement efforts in support of full execution of approved change enablement strategy.
- Maintains a working knowledge of hospital information technology.
- Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Immediately reports and mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the director.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- One (1) year Healthcare systems experience or Bachelor’s degree
- Project management or communications / marketing experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
PREFERRED
- Three (3) plus years healthcare financial or clinical systems experience (with B.S. Degree)
- Experience in Project Management
- Strong Cerner experience recommended, or alternate EHR application knowledge beneficial.
Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):
8AM-5PM
