Senior PHP Developer
Impact Scale is seeking to hire a Senior PHP Developerto join our team to enhance, maintain, and scale our flagship communications platform — a mission-critical system that delivers reliable, high-speed communication at scale.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the existing team to understand project requirements and plug into our workflow.
- Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and QA to roll out new features and improve system stability.
- Build and improve backend features in PHP (Laravel preferred)
- Optimize message delivery pipelines, database queries, and API calls for speed and reliability.
- Maintain integrations with carrier APIs, third-party services, and internal microservices.
- Design and optimize MySQL schemas for large datasets with high transaction rates.
- Improve caching, queuing, and load-balancing strategies to handle millions of daily requests.
- Write clean, testable code with strong error handling and fault-tolerant design.
- Provide guidance to junior developers and participate in peer code reviews.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 5+ years of PHP development experience, preferably in Laravel.
- 3+ years in SQL, query optimization, and data modeling.
- Experience in a similar high load project or platform
- Advanced understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, RESTful API development, Ribbit MQ.
- Git, Jira, Docker familiarity preferred.
- Speak Ukrainian or Russian fluently
