In this role, you’re expected to:
The Manager is an intermediate level position responsible for leading the development and execution of card usage strategies and partnership initiatives to drive sustainable revenue growth and enhance customer engagement. The successful candidate will own the planning, development, and execution of card usage programs, as well as manage key merchant partnerships. This role requires strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and data-driven decision-making to optimize performance and deliver on business targets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive card usage strategies and partnership programs. Take ownership of strategy formulation, budget management, and performance monitoring that align with business objectives to drive card activation, spending, and customer engagement.
- Identify and explore partnership opportunities and networks, lead collaboration discussions, and maximize negotiation outcomes to ensure diverse and competitive partnerships. Maintain excellent relationships with partners and manage conflicts to meet aligned interests and objectives.
- Assess relevant customer, competitor, industry, and data insights to define strategies, develop innovation roadmaps, and improve card usage and partnership initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, customer behavior patterns, and market trends. Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to optimize strategies, identify growth opportunities, and make business recommendations.
- Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to align business objectives and drive seamless program execution across the organization.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of product management, program management, and marketing
- Working knowledge of the business and partnership management
- Ability to collaborate especially with internal/external stakeholders/partners on delivery of programs
- Ability to leverage AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and drive innovation across programs
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Business acumen with ability to review alternate courses of action and comprehend trade off decisions
