Job Description – Python Technical Lead Location: Bangalore Team Size: Lead a team of 4 engineers

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead and mentor a team of approximately 5 developers. Own end-to-end technical delivery of software products and engineering tools. Define architecture, coding standards, and development best practices. Conduct code reviews and ensure software quality and maintainability. Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and domain experts. Application Development Design and develop robust Python-based applications. Design application with Microservices Architecture Develop desktop applications using PySide/Qt. Create engineering dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions. Build data processing and analytics workflows. Develop REST APIs and backend services where needed. Analytics & Automation Build and maintain automated data processing pipelines. Integrate MATLAB-based algorithms into Python applications. Develop solutions for data analysis, reporting, KPI generation, and engineering simulations. Optimize application performance and scalability. DevOps & Delivery Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Manage Jenkins automation workflows. Support Docker-based deployments. Drive release management and development best practices.

Required Skills Core Python 6+ years of hands-on Python development. Microservices architecture Strong Object-Oriented Programming skills. Design patterns and software architecture principles. Multithreading and asynchronous programming. Python Libraries Strong experience with: Core Python Django Pandas NumPy SciPy Matplotlib Plotly Jupyter Notebook/Jupyter Hub Python UI Development PySide / PyQt development experience. Desktop application development. Dashboard and reporting tool development. Data & Backend REST API development. Data processing pipelines. ETL workflows. JSON/XML data handling. Database Skills Any database (MySQL) DevOps & Automation Jenkins Git GitHub Actions Docker Azure DevOps CI/CD practices

Additional skills: Gen-AI / RAG architecture LLM API integration experience

MATLAB Working knowledge of MATLAB. Ability to integrate MATLAB algorithms with Python workflows. Experience collaborating with MATLAB developers and domain experts.

Leadership Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience leading development teams. Experience managing a team of 4–7 engineers. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to drive technical discussions and architectural decisions. Experience managing project deliverables and stakeholder expectations.
