Accountabilities:
- Assist with the preparation and completion of more than 2,000 monthly and quarterly financial reports, helping ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Perform high-volume reconciliations of bank statements and financial reports, identifying discrepancies and supporting appropriate resolution.
- Analyze financial data across multiple accounts and entities to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Maintain and track monthly bank statements and related financial information using internal systems and reporting tools.
- Collaborate closely with team members and internal stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues and meet reporting deadlines.
- Communicate directly with Sales Agents regarding scheduling, reporting questions, and other requests related to financial reporting activities.
- Fulfill information requests from accounting teams to support tax estimates and other financial requirements.
- Maintain organized financial records and assist with filing, document management, and data organization.
- Work effectively within a high-volume environment with defined timing goals, competing priorities, and recurring monthly and quarterly deadlines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 4 years of professional experience in an office environment, with prior accounting, financial reporting, customer service, or clerical experience preferred.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, financial reporting, or other high-volume financial data activities is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work confidently with large datasets; proficiency in Word and Outlook is also expected.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and maintain data accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with PDF management software is preferred; experience with Nuance PDF is a plus.
- Strong keyboarding skills of approximately 65 WPM or higher and strong 10-key proficiency are preferred.
- Comfortable spending extended periods working at a computer and performing routine office-based tasks requiring keyboard, calculator, telephone, and other standard office equipment use.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including prolonged sitting and occasional standing, reaching, bending, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
