What You Will Do:

  • Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation, reports, presentations, and other contract deliverables supporting Navy Reserve data analytics, digital modernization, and mission readiness initiatives
  • Author and coordinate project documentation including Project Management Plans (PMPs), Monthly Status Reports (MSRs), Final Technical Reports (FTRs), training materials, validation plans, and operational procedures
  • Translate complex technical, data analytics, systems engineering, AI/ML, and data governance concepts into clear, concise documentation tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, analysts, project managers, and government stakeholders to document system requirements, business processes, architecture artifacts, and operational recommendations
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with contractual requirements, quality standards, security guidelines, and government documentation standards while supporting timely submission and review cycles.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum Three (3)+ years of overall work experience.
  • Experience developing technical documentation for federal government or DoD programs.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, technical manuals, system documentation, and process documentation.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts related to data analytics, software development, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems into clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting Agile projects and collaborating with project managers, developers, data engineers, and data scientists.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management/version control tools such as SharePoint, GitLab, or similar repositories.
  • Strong editing, proofreading, and document formatting skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, contract deliverables, and executive briefings.
  • Ability to support documentation for analytics platforms, Jupiter Notebooks, Databricks, Python-based solutions, and data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently in a government contracting environment.
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
  • US Citizenship is contractually required.
  • Availability to be onsite 4x per week.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience working with the Ware Data Platform (WDP) (previously known as Advana, specifically Advana Jupiter for the Department of the Navy).
  • Knowledge of Foundry principles.
