About the Role
You will take a key role in securing subcontractors for offshore and onshore installation services in a project-driven environment where timing, quality, and commercial judgement matter. The role sits at the intersection of procurement, project execution, and technical delivery, giving you broad exposure across the full subcontracting process.
Working closely with procurement, legal, technical, and project stakeholders, you will help ensure that subcontracting supports safe, efficient, and cost-conscious project delivery. You will have a central position in projects, with clear ownership and the opportunity to influence how subcontractors are selected, negotiated, and managed. This is an interesting role for you if you enjoy combining commercial responsibility with cross-functional collaboration in complex projects.
Job Description
- You will lead subcontracting activities within projects and drive the procurement process from market approach to signed agreement.
- You will secure safe and cost-effective subcontract solutions that match project scope, quality expectations, and delivery timelines.
- You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand technical needs, scope, and project plans before going to market.
- You will manage commercial and contractual discussions together with legal experts and other specialists.
- You will evaluate suppliers and support decisions that balance risk, quality, delivery capability, and business value.
- You will act as the main point of responsibility for subcontracting within your projects and help create alignment across functions.
- You will contribute to continuous improvement in ways of working, structure, and procurement excellence within the team.
Requirements
- M.Sc. degree in business, engineering, economics, or a similar field.
- Experience in procurement or sourcing, including complex subcontracting.
- Project management experience in a cross-functional setup.
- Ability to handle commercial and contractual discussions in collaboration with legal experts.
- Understanding of technical scope as well as time planning.
- A business-oriented and driven approach to working in a challenging market.
