This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Azure & Databricks DevOps Engineer | Mid based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to build and optimize cloud infrastructure supporting modern data and technology environments. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines while automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes. The position combines Azure DevOps, Databricks, Infrastructure as Code, cloud operations, and infrastructure automation. You will contribute to reliable, secure, scalable, and resilient environments while monitoring performance and availability. The role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams to improve delivery processes and remove technical challenges. You will also support containerization, orchestration, security, vulnerability management, and compliance initiatives. Accountabilities:
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment processes, and recurring operational activities.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices to improve consistency, scalability, and repeatability across environments.
- Support the management, optimization, and continuous improvement of cloud environments and resources.
- Work with Databricks and automate processes supporting data and technology workloads.
- Support container management and orchestration processes where required.
- Monitor the performance, availability, scalability, and overall health of cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Implement security practices, vulnerability analysis, and compliance measures across infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to improve delivery workflows and resolve technical challenges.
- Investigate infrastructure and deployment issues and contribute to solutions that improve reliability and resilience.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the evolution of resilient, scalable, secure, and highly automated infrastructure environments.
Requirements:
- Professional experience working in DevOps, at a mid-level or senior level.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Azure DevOps.
- Practical experience working with Databricks.
- Experience automating infrastructure and operational processes.
- Knowledge of cloud environments, including resource provisioning and management.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring, security, availability, and infrastructure reliability practices.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of activities, and troubleshoot problems with autonomy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with development and operations teams.
- Experience with containers and orchestration is desirable.
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and infrastructure security practices is a plus.
- Experience working with highly available and scalable environments is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous-improvement mindset.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and contribute to modern cloud and DevOps practices.
