We are looking for a talented and experienced Java Developer with 6–9 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions using Java and modern development practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals, to deliver robust applications that meet business objectives.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent coding standards, and the ability to contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and production support.
Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and backend services.
- Build scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services with various internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and high software quality.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and application monitoring.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed features and system enhancements.
- Stay updated with emerging Java technologies, frameworks, and software engineering best practices.
Required Skills• 6–9 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming (OOP), collections, multithreading, exception handling, and concurrency.
- Experience developing enterprise applications using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services, API development, and backend architecture.
- Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of application security principles and secure coding practices.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and debugging complex applications.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of messaging systems, caching technologies, or microservices architecture is desirable.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
