Overview

Financial Analyst, Senior (2026-25709)

Bowhead is excited to announce our return to PMA‑275, supporting the V‑22 Osprey through the newly awarded Program/Project Management Technical Support Services contract. We are rapidly expanding our team to help drive mission readiness, modernization, and disciplined program execution for one of naval aviation’s most versatile platforms. Incumbent PMA‑275 personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct quantitative analyses of information requiring financial and/or accounting support.

Provide support to the activity Accounting Department, Budget Department, Financial Systems Department or Business Operations Department, and other organizational support elements and other activities.

Performs more complex analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of: (1) theory and principles; (2) financial and management organization, operations, and practices; (3) pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions; and (4) related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles. Assists program/project personnel with financial tracking, budget formulation, execution, and overall financial support.

Provides support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls which could have significant impact on the organization and its business operations.

Demonstrates knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution, and DoN procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must have a MA/ MS degree. Allowable Substitutions: Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) additional years of relevant experience, orAssociate’s Degree plus four (4) additional years of relevant experience, or six (6) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must have over 8 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Experience in financial management to include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports, and demonstrated knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), PPBE, and DoN procurement policies and procedures experience. Demonstrated Navy ERP knowledge is required.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
