Full description

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Drive development and execution of project plans by defining scope, sequencing activities, estimating timelines, and determining schedules to meet objectives.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards, processes, and policies.
  • Project Management
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery, including chartering, requirements gathering, planning, change control, risk management, and reporting.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate project risks and issues promptly.
  • Track project progress and resource utilization against approved plans.
  • Communication & Reporting
  • Plan and execute effective project communications, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of information and documentation.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project status reports to senior management and clients.
  • Delivery Leadership
  • Lead and manage projects in the Network International domain (processing, cards, payments, ATMs, POS, etc.).
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple geographies.
  • Tools & Governance
  • Monitor and report project progress using Jira and MS Project.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Project Plans
  • Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive project plans by collaborating with teams to define scope, sequence activities, estimate timelines, and establish schedules that align with project objectives.
  • Ensure Compliance with Standards and Policies
  • Maintain consistency and enforce adherence to organizational standards, processes, and governance policies across all projects.
  • Manage Full Project Lifecycle
  • Oversee all phases of project execution, including chartering, scope definition, requirements gathering, planning, change control, risk management, and performance reporting.
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Proactively identify, assess, and resolve project risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation to minimize impact on delivery.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Develop and execute effective communication strategies to ensure accurate and timely distribution of information, documentation, and issue resolution to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Project Administration and Documentation
  • Ensure proper management of project-related tasks such as maintaining schedules, preparing reports, and documenting key decisions and deliverables

Qualifications

Education level accepted

  • Min Years and type of Experience accepted
  • A minimum B.Sc. degree, from an accredited and recognized University
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years in project management, preferably in banking, financial services or payment processing.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of cards, payments, and transaction processing systems
  • Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Jira and Microsoft Project.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field (PMP, PRINCE2 or scrum certification is a plus).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French language would be a plus
  • Location: Will be based in Cairo office.
