Our Team: How we enrich everyday life

You'll be joining our Data & Decision Sciences (DDS) team, a collaborative group of product, engineering, enablement and data science specialists who use data to drive smarter decisions across Bauer Media. DDS operates across nine European markets, helping business teams unlock value through trusted data, actionable insights and innovative data products.

This role will work closely with stakeholders across Audio, Publishing and Outdoor, building commercial data capabilities that will shape how the business operates in the future.

The Difference you will make

This is an exciting new position supporting Audio, Publishing and Outdoor in developing commercial data products spanning targeting, insight and measurement. You will ensure business requirements are understood, translated into clear deliverables and successfully brought to life through data-driven solutions.

You will work closely with teams across Commercial, Digital, Finance and our local markets, acting as the bridge between the business and data teams, helping stakeholders define problems, identify opportunities and deliver solutions that create genuine commercial value.

Your Role

As Business Analyst, you will gather, analyse and translate business requirements into actionable insights and product deliverables.

  • Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and requirements-gathering activities.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process maps and documentation.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers and Data Scientists to support delivery of data products.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and prioritise requirements based on business impact.
  • Support testing, validation and user acceptance activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement of data products and processes.
  • Navigate changing priorities and balance stakeholder needs.

The Skills You Will Bring

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within media, advertising, digital or client-side marketing environments.
  • Experience working alongside data teams (analytics, engineering or BI).
  • Understanding of SQL fundamentals and confidence working with BI tools.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across multiple functions, departments and markets.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting data transformation or exposure to change management or process improvement initiatives.

Working Pattern/Location

Permanent, full-time role based in London with hybrid working.
