Role Description:

The Data & BI Analyst supports the Commercial Strategy & Analytics function by ensuring accurate, timely, and structured data is available for business analysis. This role focuses on data extraction, validation, reporting, and dashboard development to enable informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, consolidate, and manage data from multiple sources including SAP and manual trackers
  • Clean, validate, and transform data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
  • Produce regular (weekly/monthly) reports to support commercial performance tracking
  • Prepare structured datasets for analysis by senior analysts and business stakeholders
  • Monitor data quality and proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve inconsistencies
  • Maintain documentation for data sources, definitions, and reporting processes
  • Support automation and continuous improvement of reporting workflows

Scope of Role

  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of data extraction, validation, reporting, and dashboard development
  • Works closely with senior analysts and business stakeholders to support data-driven initiatives
  • Focuses on delivering accurate, timely, and structured data to enable business insights
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of data processes and reporting efficiency

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard creation, data modeling preferred)
  • Familiarity with data extraction from systems such as SAP Business Intelligence or similar platforms
  • Basic understanding of data structures, data cleaning, and transformation techniques

Professional Skills:

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle and reconcile data from multiple sources
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on data quality
  • Good communication skills to support internal stakeholders

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence roles

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with basic querying skills
  • Exposure to data warehousing concepts
  • Experience in commercial, sales, or FMCG environments
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, VBA)
