Art Direction Team

The Art Direction team at We Are Social is part of the broader Creative and Editorial department and is responsible for ensuring and evolving our clients' visual identity across all types of content that we conceive, create, and manage for them on all social media channels.

Role Purpose

Reporting to Creative Supervisor/ Head of Art / Creative Director, is responsible for supporting the Design and Creative team in creating content across all media channels.

The role is a very “hands-on”, because he/she is responsible for creating visual concepts in response to clients’ briefs and relaying them to the Creative Supervisor/ Head of Art / Creative Director  His/her work is mainly focused on developing graphic assets and digital projects, although he/she might also work on specific campaigns or activations.

Responsible for design executions and creating visual response to briefs with the supervision of senior designers or art directors. Is also asked to get things done to a high standard and able to make it easy for others to do the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Definition of creative concepts, their execution, and detailed crafting
  • Art direction for ongoing content, formats and  activations for the clients’ editorial plan
  • Execution and quality control of output during the creative production phase
  • Study and development of visual identity and brand for reference clients
  • Participation in defining and developing editorial strategy in terms of languages and visual formats
  • Constant alignment with Creative and Client Service references
  • Based in Rome, with the workplace located in Trigoria working closely with the client.
  • Strong passion for football
  • Strong flexibility and adaptability
  • Degree in art direction, graphic design, or equivalent fields
  • 2/5 years experience in creative agencies is really appreciate 
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to work in extended and complex teams
  • Competence and mastery across different media, formats, tools, and techniques of visual communication
  • High affinity and passion for social media.
  • Intuition for current trends and developments.
  • A good knowledge of English is a nice to have
