POSITION TITLE: ERP Solutions Architect

SHIFT HOURS: 8:00am to 5:00pm (days)

LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY

SALARY PAY RANGE: $75,000/yr to $100,000/yr

JOB SUMMARY: The ERP Solutions Architect is responsible for the EnterpriseIQ/Delmiaworks systems administration, continuous improvement initiatives, software validation activities and integration projects. The ERP Solutions Architect works collaboratively with leaders across all functional areas to improve business process efficiency, data integrity, and decision-making through effective utilization of the EnterpriseIQ/DelmiaWorks software suite.

REPORTS TO: Production Director or Enterprise Development & Training Manager

SUPERVISES: No

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ERP Solutions Architect I:

  • Support system administration activities including backups, licensing, alerts and routine system maintenance.
  • Maintain user accounts, passwords, and security permissions within EnterpriseIQ.
  • Assist with software validation activities for upgrades, patches, and functionality changes.
  • Troubleshoot transactional and system issues and provide timely user support.
  • Monitor and maintain ERP system controls to support data integrity and transaction accuracy.
  • Assist with EDI transaction monitoring and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain basic Oracle SWL queries and reports.
  • Work with system users to gather and document business requirements
  • Participate in ERP improvement initiative and implementation projects.
  • Train users in the effective user of EnterpriseIQ/DelmiaWorks functionality.
  • Collaborate with ERP team members on enhancement projects and support activities.

ERP Solutions Architect II:

  • All responsibilities of a level I.
  • Independently administer EnterpriseIQ/DelmiaWorks modules and system functionality.
  • Lead software validation efforts for upgrades, patches, new modules, and significant system changes.
  • Develop project plans, timelines and implementation strategies for ERP initiatives.
  • Analyze user requirements and translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Perform security audits ad develop new security roles and access controls.
  • Troubleshoot complex ERP, database, and EDI issues.
  • Develop advanced Oracle SQL queries, reports, and data analysis solutions.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for expanded ERP utilization and process improvements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional ERP projects and improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor other ERP team personnel in system functionality and best practices.

Senior ERP Solutions Architect:

  • All responsibilities of level I and II.
  • Server as the technical authority for EnterpriseIQ/DelmiaWorks architecture, administration, and integration strategy.
  • Establish ERP governance standards, system controls, and best practices.
  • Lead enterprise-wide ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain the ERP roadmap in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Direct software validation strategy for major ERP changes and implementations.
  • Oversee ERP data integrity initiative and system performance optimization efforts.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, modules, and system capabilities.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical development for ERP team members.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex ERP, database, and integration issues.
  • Partner with business leadership to identify and execute strategic process improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams in support of enterprise business initiatives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

ERP Solutions Architect I:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar discipline preferred; OR equivalent combination of education and relevant business systems experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience supporting, administering, or implementing business systems (ERP, MES, CRM, QMS, LMS etc.)
  • Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Experience with BI/Data Visualization platform (Tableau) preferred.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports preferred.
  • Basic SQL knowledge required.

ERP Solutions Architect II:

  • All requirements listed above.
  • 3-5 years of ERP administration, implementation, or business systems experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading business systems improvement initiatives.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills required.

Senior ERP Solutions Architect:

  • All requirements listed above.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with ERP implementation and administration required.
  • Experience implementing ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • ERP software implementation and support.
  • Gathering and analyzing user requirements..
  • Analytical problem solving.
  • Ability to identify solution phases and roadmaps.
  • Proficient with the MS Office Suite.
  • Oracle SQL Select Statements.
