Data Scientist

Salary: £50K - £60K

Location: London | Hybrid

Data Idols are working with an established organisation looking for a Data Scientist to join their growing data function.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team working on complex modelling problems, using Data Science and Machine Learning to support better commercial decisions. The role will have a particular focus on credit, making it a great opportunity for someone with experience working with financial or risk-based data.

The Opportunity

As a Data Scientist, you’ll develop and improve statistical and Machine Learning models, working with large and complex datasets to identify patterns, understand performance and deliver actionable insights.

You’ll be involved throughout the modelling lifecycle, from initial exploration and feature development through to implementation, monitoring and ongoing optimisation. You’ll work closely with technical and non-technical teams across the organisation, helping turn complex data into practical solutions that can be used to improve business outcomes.

  • Exposure to credit, risk or financial datasets
  • Strong Python skills
