The Opportunity

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Buildings & Property team within the Victoria. You’ll work in tight-knit, energetic and diverse teams, based in our Melbourne CBD office or on site with professional flexibility. Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you will play a key role in delivering successful outcomes for our clients across sectors including Commercial Office, Education, Retail, Residential, Aviation and Property Advisory for both public and private sector clients. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion while working alongside a high-performing and collaborative team. Our team contributes to the national group with occasional opportunities for mobility and participation in significant national projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to delivery and close-out.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Create, monitor, and drive project programmes, budgets, risks and performance to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and client communications.
  • Support the delivery of multiple projects across various sectors while maintaining quality and commercial objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and proactive project management.

About You

  • Proven experience delivering building and construction projects within a consultancy, contractor or property environment.
  • Experience across one or more sectors including Commercial Office, Education, Retail, Residential, Aviation or Property Advisory.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, contract administration and project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
  • A collaborative and client-focused approach with a strong commitment to teamwork and positive culture
