Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engineering Leadership & Team Management• Lead, grow, and develop high-performing engineering teams responsible for website development, API development, full stack application delivery, and platform engineering
  • Drive talent strategy, hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development to build strong leadership depth and engineering capability
  • Establish clear ownership, accountability, operating rhythms, and delivery governance across teams and programs
  • Technology Strategy & Architecture Leadership• Provide technical leadership for scalable, secure, and reliable websites, web applications, APIs, microservices, integration services, and data-enabled capabilities
  • Partner with architecture, product, security, data, and business leaders to align technology direction with enterprise standards and business outcomes
  • Define and promote engineering standards, reusable patterns, modernization practices, and architectural guardrails across delivery teams
  • Delivery Execution & Operational Accountability• Own execution of engineering roadmaps and multi-quarter programs with a focus on quality, predictability, speed, resiliency, and business value
  • Manage cross-team dependencies, delivery risks, capacity planning, and release readiness across engineering, product, data science, and platform teams
  • Drive operational excellence through metrics, automation, incident prevention, production readiness, and continuous improvement practices
  • Data Governance & Responsible Technology Practices• Provide oversight for data management, security controls, privacy expectations, and responsible use of emerging technology capabilities, including AI where applicable
  • Embed compliance, privacy, security, and governance expectations into SDLC, CI/CD, and platform engineering workflows
  • Platform Engineering & Full Stack Enablement• Oversee delivery of end-to-end technology solutions across websites, user experience, APIs, services, integration layers, cloud infrastructure, and data platforms
  • Enable scalable digital platforms that support customer-facing websites, API ecosystems, analytics, automation, and decision-support use cases
  • Engineering Productivity & Innovation• Champion modern engineering practices, automation, DevOps, reusable components, API-first design, and development tools that improve productivity and delivery quality
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, engineering excellence, accountability, and measurable outcomes
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Communication• Partner with business, product, operations, security, architecture, and executive stakeholders to translate strategy into executable technology plans
  • Communicate roadmap progress, delivery health, risks, tradeoffs, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Influence enterprise decisions related to engineering standards, website modernization, API strategy, platform modernization, responsible technology adoption, and operational excellence

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including enterprise website development, API development, full stack application delivery, and platform modernization
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams, people leaders, or large cross-functional delivery teams in a complex enterprise environment
  • Hands-on experience with modern web and API technologies, such as Java, Python, Node.js, React, Angular, REST, GraphQL, microservices, and related full stack frameworks
  • Experience designing, modernizing, and operating scalable, secure, and resilient web applications, APIs, integration services, and distributed systems
  • Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD, DevOps,AIOPS practices, observability, automation, release management, and production readiness; AWS experience preferred
  • Experience partnering with product, architecture, security, data, operations, and business stakeholders to define priorities, align roadmaps, and drive delivery accountability
  • Working knowledge of data management, privacy, security, compliance, governance, and responsible use of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities where applicable
  • Demonstrated track record delivering multi-quarter, cross-team technology programs with strong execution discipline, risk management, and measurable business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital platform modernization, website scalability, API ecosystems, or emerging technology capabilities
  • Experience building enterprise-scale platforms for analytics, optimization, or decision intelligence
  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, etc.)
  • Experience of building Agentic solutions or MCP solution
  • Knowledge of responsible technology practices, data governance, and emerging AI/ML concepts
