Key job responsibilities - Own the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale BI solutions (data models, ETL/ELT pipelines) that are robust, extensible, and scalable using AWS infrastructure. - Develop robust code in a fast-paced DevOps environment. - Use Python, Java, TypeScript, and SQL to create and optimize solutions. - Continuously streamline and automate reporting and analytical processes.
About the team We are a global science and tech team for developing optimization models for Amazon's middle mile network. We are owning the entire lifecycle of tech products from idea to production-use and deploy our tools on a worldwide basis. Our team is composed of a wide variety of tech roles including scientists, data engineers and business intelligence engineers.
Basic Qualifications: - Experience in data engineering - Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions - Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
