Position Summary
We are currently looking for a Project Coordination Manager - Coffee EUR. The scope will be to manage as PCM across two factories, Porto in Portugal and Reus factory in Spain.
Reporting to the PCM Lead, this professional will be responsible for assuming one of two roles depending on the project scope:
- Contribute to Innovation & Renovation – Idea to Launch projects (I&R-I2L):
You will be responsible for efficient and effective project execution, coordinating across operations functions (CTAG, Quality, Regulatory, Procurement, Planning, Engineering, Factory…) to deliver the project from the production factory. You will act as the Single Point of Contact for all operations functions, working collaboratively across the I2L network.
- Lead Operations Projects: For purely operational projects (e.g., cost improvement, development of Business Continuity Plans, sourcing changes, supplier changes), you will serve as the end-to-end Project Manager, orchestrating all involved functions to deliver the project successfully.
- The scope of work also requires you to support Imports, Exports as well as working with a small number of Comakers as required.
A day in the life of...
- Act as the Single Point of Contact from Operations for Idea to Launch projects (Innovation, Renovation, multimarket projects, format changes, packaging claims…).
- Coordinate project execution from the factory to ensure delivery on time, in full, and at optimal cost.
- Conduct status updates and track task completion.
- Create high-level and detailed project schedules.
- Create and maintain master data in the SAP system.
- Coordinate operations teams to provide samples and transfer prices.
- Manage project documentation, including coordination of the Product Brief.
- Share input in post-project reviews and complete improvement actions.
- Coordinate feasibility with technical teams, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Influence the factory portfolio to ensure efficiency, aligned with Zone Operations priorities.
- Lead the Project end-to-end, including management of local operational teams.
- Facilitate internal communication with local stakeholders and deciders.
- Perform the project execution evaluation at the end / Capture and share lessons learned.
- Identify & implement opportunities for improvement in the processes.
What will make you successful
- University degree.
- Supply chain knowledge, ideally with a focus on Planning.
- Operational experience in any part of the end-to-end value chain.
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated project management experience (leading or participating in projects).
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable navigating a matrix structure.
- Strong organizational and influencing skills with key stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
- Ability and willingness to standardize ways of working to improve performance.
- Effective self-management by following defined KPIs and proactively tracking progress. Problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude. Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint…).
- Nice to have external qualifications (e.g., Project Management Institute – Project Management Professional: PMI-PMP) and knowledge of Microsoft Project.
