Java Full Stack Developer – Java, React, Spring Boot, REST APIs & SQL

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer (Java + React) with at least 3 years of experience in Java software development and full-stack application delivery. The role will focus on developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable applications using Java, Java EE, React, RESTful web services, relational databases, and SQL. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable features, resolve technical issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to maintainable solutions aligned with business objectives.

Software Requirements

Required

• Java: At least 3 years of professional experience developing Java-based applications and systems.

• Java EE: Strong understanding of the Java EE platform and enterprise application development concepts.

• React: Practical experience developing responsive and maintainable user interfaces using React.

• Java Web Frameworks: Experience with Spring, Hibernate, JSF, or comparable Java web development frameworks.

• RESTful Web Services: Experience developing, consuming, integrating, and troubleshooting REST APIs.

• Relational Databases and SQL: Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries for application development and data validation.

• Version Control: Experience using Git or an equivalent version control system.

• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development practices.

• Development and Testing Tools: Experience using approved tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, defect tracking, and collaboration.

Preferred

• Experience with modern React development practices, component design, state management, routing, and frontend testing.

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based enterprise applications using Java, Java EE, React, and related technologies.

• Build clean, maintainable, scalable, and testable backend and frontend components.

• Design and implement application features based on approved business and technical requirements.

• Develop and integrate RESTful web services to support communication between frontend applications, backend services, and external systems.

• Create and maintain React-based user interfaces that meet functional, usability, accessibility, and performance requirements.

• Work with relational databases and SQL to support data access, application functionality, data validation, and issue investigation.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain Java backend services, React frontend components, REST APIs, and database integrations based on approved requirements.

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, designers, and other stakeholders through planning meetings, technical discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.

• Debug application issues, validate fixes, optimize SQL and application performance, and support testing, deployment, and production activities.

• Maintain source code, technical documentation, test evidence, and implementation deliverables while making development decisions within approved architecture, security, and coding standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java software development, including experience with Java EE and Java web development frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience with React, relational databases, SQL, RESTful web services, Git, and Agile software development practices.

• Certifications related to Java, React, web development, cloud technologies, or Agile delivery are preferred but not required.

• Commitment to continuous professional development through relevant training, technical learning, certification opportunities, and evolving Java, React, and full-stack development practices.
