Software Developer/ Dotnet Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Developer / Dotnet Developer based in India.

This role is suited to a software developer who enjoys building, improving, and supporting web-based applications throughout the full development lifecycle. You will work on requirements analysis, application design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The position offers the opportunity to work extensively with the .NET ecosystem while contributing to scalable and reliable software solutions. You will also work with SQL databases, frontend technologies, and application performance optimization. Success in the role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams. The position combines hands-on development with technical ownership and post-launch application support.

Accountabilities:

• Participate in requirements analysis and translate business and technical needs into effective software solutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to define software architecture, technical designs, and development approaches.

• Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable web applications using .NET and ASP.NET technologies.

• Write, test, debug, refactor, and optimize application code throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while ensuring consistency and compatibility across applications.

• Work with MS-SQL databases, including profiling queries and optimizing database performance.

• Lead application development activities from concept and implementation through deployment, post-launch support, and continuous improvement.

• Identify opportunities to improve existing software, application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Test and deploy applications and systems while investigating and resolving defects or technical issues.

• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the SDLC.

• Provide technical support and act as a subject-matter resource for assigned applications.

• Communicate project progress, technical challenges, evaluations, recommendations, schedules, and process-related issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience, preferably working with custom web applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET and the .NET development ecosystem.

• Good working knowledge of MS-SQL, including database profiling, query analysis, and performance optimization.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing and maintaining web-based applications.

• Experience participating in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.

• Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Strong debugging and code-refactoring skills, with an ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

• Creative and efficient problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail.

• Ability to understand technical requirements and collaborate effectively with internal teams.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when reporting progress, technical challenges, recommendations, and delivery timelines.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple development and support priorities.

• Immediate joiners are preferred.

• Candidates should be comfortable with a remote or office-based working arrangement depending on the assigned location.
