Overview Of The Role:
- The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Senior Finance Manager in managing corporate finance, treasury operations, and funding requirements of the Financial Services Division, which includes ten entities. This role requires robust financial analysis, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage multiple entities under a structured governance framework. Success is measured through accurate financial modeling, strategic funding execution, effective cash management, and measurable improvements in financial efficiency and risk management.
What You Will Do:
Corporate Financing
- Deliver robust, decision-ready financial models and consolidated projections to support strategic planning, funding execution, and cost optimization.
- Ensure accurate Direct Cash Flow (DCF) forecasts aligned with the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Provide actionable performance analysis of Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and funding costs with recommendations to optimize financial efficiency.
- Evaluate and support optimization of capital and funding structures to enhance returns and reduce funding costs.
- Assess funding impact of capital expenditure and provide managerial insights on portfolio changes.
- Support execution of funding transactions through coordination with the Global Treasury Centre (GTC).
- Monitor capital adequacy and liquidity to enable strategic decision-making.
Treasury & Cash Management
- Prepare and review bi-weekly cash flow forecasts ensuring stakeholder alignment and forecast reliability.
- Ensure compliance with debt limits and facility covenants, identifying potential breaches in advance.
- Drive liquidity optimization to enhance cash efficiency, exceed budget targets, and improve working capital.
- Maintain real-time visibility of cash positions for seamless operational funding and debt servicing.
- Optimize liquidity through intercompany funding structures and cash reallocation strategies.
- Coordinate with GTC on bank management and facility limits, enhancing treasury operations.
- Develop dashboards for real-time monitoring of facility utilization and funding cost drivers.
Asset and Liability Management
- Implement asset and liability strategies to optimize returns per ALCO guidelines.
- Prepare assessments of asset liability mismatches for ALCO reporting.
- Monitor capital, liquidity, and interest rate risks through risk analysis and stress testing.
- Assist in determining funding strategies and balance sheet optimization objectives.
Policies and Procedures
- Manage accounting procedures related to debt and equity funding.
- Support preparation of fiscal records, financial plans, and policies at the divisional level.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare internal approvals related to funding and treasury activities.
Governance, Financial Risk Control, Transformation
- Develop SLAs to govern treasury activities with Business Units.
- Assist in ALCO policy development and compliance.
- Review documentation for compliance with DOA including banking mandates.
- Perform KYC duties and update documents with banks in consultation with relevant teams.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Robust financial analysis and modeling capabilities.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAP BPC and Anaplan.
- Understanding of balance sheet risks and mitigation strategies.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Qualified in Finance and/or Accounting, with a preference for professional certifications such as MBA, ACCA, CA, CIMA, or CFA.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, banking, or financial services.
- Understanding of financial markets, forex, and treasury accounting, including FX, liquidity, and financial instruments.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
