This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manufacturing Solutions Architect based in United States.
This role offers an opportunity to help shape scalable technology solutions across modern manufacturing environments.You will bridge business needs, IT systems, and operational technology to support digital manufacturing initiatives.Working with engineering, site operations, vendors, and technology teams, you will translate requirements into practical technical solutions.The position combines solution architecture, systems integration, data flows, and manufacturing technology in a collaborative environment.You will contribute to architecture standards, design workshops, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.This is a strong opportunity for an early-career technology professional to gain hands-on exposure to Industry 4.0 and enterprise manufacturing systems.The position is fully remote and offers the chance to contribute to technology initiatives supporting well-known consumer food brands.

Accountabilities:
- Assist with the design and documentation of scalable manufacturing and business solutions aligned with enterprise technology standards.
- Support the development of solution architectures that advance digital manufacturing strategies and operational objectives.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, process flows, data models, and integration specifications.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical recommendations and practical solution designs.
- Help define and document data requirements and information flows between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) environments.
- Coordinate solution-related activities across site operations, engineering teams, technology partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Support systems integration, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for manufacturing technology solutions.
- Document implementation lessons learned, technical decisions, and best practices to improve future solution delivery.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of manufacturing architecture, processes, and technology standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in manufacturing.
- 0–3 years of experience in IT, manufacturing systems, automation, analytics, solution delivery, or a closely related field.
- Understanding of software development, enterprise applications, systems integration, or related technology concepts.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments such as consumer packaged goods, food and beverage, or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISA-95, Industry 4.0, or modern digital manufacturing concepts is preferred.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), such as AVEVA, Rockwell FTPC, Siemens Opcenter, or TrakSYS/Parsec, is advantageous.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and data engineering pipelines is a plus.
- Experience with Power BI or other manufacturing analytics platforms is desirable.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles within operational technology environments is beneficial.

- Target base salary: $70,300–$96,700 USD annually.
- Compensation may vary based on work location, experience, job-related skills, education, and training.
