Senior Software Engineer – Python

About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Python/TypeScript to build, scale, and maintain production software for a rapidly growing technology platform.

This role offers end-to-end ownership across backend services, full-stack applications, infrastructure, and scalable systems. The ideal candidate has strong computer science fundamentals, excellent coding skills, and experience delivering production software in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend and full-stack services.

• Own features from architecture and technical design through deployment and production support.

• Develop production applications using Python, TypeScript, and modern software technologies.

• Identify and implement scalability, reliability, and infrastructure improvements.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to develop robust technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and improve system performance.

• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and development best practices.

• Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.

• Participate in technical interviews and help evaluate engineering talent.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience; candidates with 6+ years may be considered for exceptional technical backgrounds.

• Strong experience with Python and TypeScript.

• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.

• Experience building and scaling production software and distributed/scalable systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Experience working in a high-growth startup or fast-paced technology environment.

• Demonstrated career growth and increasing technical responsibility.

• Ability to work on-site 4 days per week in New York City.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; TN or E-3 visa holders may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform.

• Experience with Go or other modern programming languages.

• Experience scaling systems through significant growth.

• Startup or growth-stage technology experience.

• Fintech or healthcare technology experience.

Compensation & Benefits

• $210,000–$250,000 annual salary for the New York market, based on experience and qualifications.
