About us
E2Eis a fast-growing Swedish company on a unique journey to make financial advice more accessible to everyone. We help customers reach their financial goals in a simple, secure and personal way, and to succeed, we need the right talent on our team.
About the role
We're building a modern data platform from the ground up, and we're looking for a Analytics Engineer to help define how our company works with data.
As an Analytics Engineer, you'll sit at the intersection of Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science. Your primary responsibility is to transform raw data into trusted, reusable, and well-documented datasets that power reporting, experimentation, machine learning, and business decision-making.
This is not a dashboard development role. It is a software engineering role focused on data modeling, data quality, and creating scalable semantic layers for the entire organization.
You'll be joining a growing Data Team consisting of Data Engineers and Data Scientists, working closely with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Design and own our semantic layer using modern data modeling principles.
- Build reusable, production-ready datasets that serve as shared sources of truth across the company.
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytical datasets
- Improve data quality through testing, documentation, and monitoring.
- Work closely with Data Scientists to provide high-quality feature datasets for machine learning.
- Drive best practices around SQL development, version control, documentation, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers on data pipelines and infrastructure
- Help establish standards for analytics engineering across the company.
What we’re looking for
- Has several years of experience working with analytics engineering, data engineering, or advanced analytics.
- Writes excellent SQL and enjoys solving complex data problems.
- Has experience designing dimensional models, semantic layers, and reusable business models.
- Can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Enjoys creating structure where none exists.
- Thinks long-term and values maintainability over quick fixes.
Bonus experience:
- Banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Feature engineering.
- Data governance and metadata management.
- Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with modern ELT frameworks such as SQLMesh or dbt.
What we offer
High ownership, real impact, and a short path from idea to production. You’ll help shape our data platform and ways of working, building systems that directly influence business decisions and financial outcomes.
You’ll join an early-stage data team with high ambitions, working closely with product and engineering. As we expand into lending and deposits, you’ll be part of building the decisioning systems from the ground up.
Application
Apply in English (Swedish is also welcome). We review applications on an ongoing basis and will fill the role as soon as we find the right person. We look forward to welcoming you to E2E! Swedish citizenship is a must.
