Job Description
The Project Manager plays a key role in the successful delivery of FPC Global’s Digital Building Services, supporting both project delivery and wider service delivery activities across client programs.
The role is responsible for managing assigned projects while also providing delivery assurance across multiple workstreams. This includes maintaining accurate project data, monitoring project management and ticketing systems, supporting governance, keeping delivery playbooks up to date, and proactively identifying risks, gaps, and areas requiring follow-up.
As a client-facing member of the delivery team, the Project Manager will work closely with clients, delivery teams, technical specialists, and commercial stakeholders to ensure projects are well managed, information is accurate, and delivery remains on track.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Manage assigned projects from initiation through to closeout in line with agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintain oversight of project risks, issues, actions, dependencies, and change.
- Support coordination across multiple projects and workstreams where required.
- Ensure project information, plans, and reporting remain accurate and up to date.
Delivery Assurance & Data Quality
- Maintain project and program trackers using Google Sheets and other project management tools.
- Carry out regular data quality checks to ensure project information is complete, accurate, and current.
- Review ticket queues, project management systems, and delivery trackers to identify overdue actions, risks, or inconsistencies.
- Conduct spot checks , audits across projects and workstreams to ensure agreed processes and governance standards are being followed.
- Support reporting against agreed KPI’s and SLA’s, dashboards, and management information for internal and client stakeholders.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate project teams, technical specialists, and other delivery stakeholders.
- Facilitate project and team meetings, ensuring actions, decisions, and owners are clearly captured.
- Follow up on actions, risks, and deliverables to maintain delivery momentum.
- Support team members with questions relating to project processes, reporting, governance, and ways of working.
Governance & Process Improvement
- Maintain delivery playbooks, templates, SOPs, and project documentation, ensuring they remain accurate and current.
- Support teams in consistently applying agreed project and delivery processes.
- Contribute to lessons learned, operational reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
- Work with the Delivery Operations Performance team to improve project management and service delivery frameworks.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients on assigned projects.
- Build strong working relationships with client and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clear project and delivery updates, including risks, actions, and progress.
- Support wider program and service delivery stakeholder engagement where required.
Commercial Awareness
- Monitor project financial performance and support effective budget control.
- Identify potential scope changes or additional service opportunities.
- Support proposal development and business development activities where required.
Additional Information
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, service delivery, program coordination, PMO, or delivery assurance roles.
- Strong project management skills, including risk, issue, action, and change management.
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong experience working with project data, reporting, and governance.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, pivot tables, data validation, and structured trackers.
- Experience using project management and/or ticketing platforms such as Jira, Monday.com, Service now,Asana, Smartsheet, or similar.
- Experience maintaining project processes, playbooks, SOPs, or governance documentation.
- Strong meeting facilitation and follow-up skills.
- Experience with Quality checks and audits
Desirable
- Experience within Project/program management in Digital Buildings, IoT, Systems Integration, Smart Technologies, or another technology-led environment.
- Experience in construction, systems commissioning, or facilities technology integration.
- Relevant project management qualification such as PMI, APM, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
