About the role
We're seeking a strategic and commercially minded Senior Product Manager – Event Experiences to own the vision, strategy, investment direction and long-term evolution of Tennis Australia's Event Apps portfolio. These critical digital products support the Australian Open, Summer of Tennis and other major events, enabling exceptional experiences for players, workforce teams, volunteers, officials, media, hospitality partners and event operations.
Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you'll shape portfolio priorities, drive product discovery, influence investment decisions and ensure our event-critical products deliver customer value, operational excellence and event readiness. You'll also identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance experiences, improve outcomes and support long-term platform sustainability.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Owning the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Tennis Australia's Event Apps portfolio, ensuring priorities align with customer needs, operational requirements, event readiness and strategic objectives
- Driving product discovery with players, workforce teams, officials and event stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve pain points and inform roadmap, prioritisation and investment decisions
- Owning portfolio investment recommendations, business cases and product lifecycle decisions across a mix of SaaS platforms, enterprise systems and bespoke digital products, balancing customer value, operational effectiveness, risk and long-term sustainability
- Influencing and aligning senior business, operational and technology stakeholders to ensure product priorities, investment decisions and delivery outcomes support Tennis Australia's strategic objectives
- Partnering with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Business Analysts, Engineering, Architecture and Technology Operations teams to deliver product outcomes, manage dependencies and support scalable, sustainable solutions
- Using customer feedback, analytics, operational insights and AI-enabled tools to optimise product performance, adoption, product health and future investment recommendations
- Evaluating vendor platforms, partner capabilities and emerging technologies, providing trusted recommendations that support customer, operational and strategic outcomes
- Providing thought leadership across Digital, helping to strengthen product management practices and improve collaboration across product, delivery and technology teams
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bring extensive experience leading complex digital products or portfolios, with a proven track record of shaping strategy, influencing investment decisions and delivering measurable business outcomes
- Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and navigate competing priorities across business, technology and operational environments
- Have proven experience in product strategy, roadmap development, product discovery, user research, prioritisation frameworks and Agile product development methodologies
- Be highly analytical and customer-focused, using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform product strategy, investment recommendations and lifecycle decisions
- Have experience working across complex technology ecosystems, including SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, web and mobile products, and integrated digital services
- Demonstrate experience leveraging AI-assisted tools and emerging technologies to improve discovery, analysis, prioritisation, planning, communication and product innovation
- Be comfortable operating in ambiguity, exercising strong commercial and operational judgement, and balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery outcomes
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia
