We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:

• Design and evolve microservices architecture across Java 11, 17, and 21; ensure compliance and scalability standards.

• Lead code reviews, mentoring squad members to drive technical excellence and consistency.

• Serve as Incident Commander during production issues; provide on-demand technical escalation support.

• Own Product Owner Delivery initiatives, translating compliance requirements into technical roadmaps and delivery milestones.

• Evaluate and recommend messaging platforms (Kafka, Solace, Message Queue) and cloud infrastructure decisions.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Advanced Java expertise (11, 17, 21); deep knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices patterns.

• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Solace, or IBM Message Queue; comfortable designing event-driven architectures.

• Strong software design principles (SOLID, design patterns); ability to guide architectural decisions and trade-offs.

• Proven leadership: mentoring engineers, rigorous code review discipline, clear technical communication.

• Proficiency with CI/CD, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and observability platforms.

• Banking/financial services background; familiarity with compliance frameworks (regulatory reporting, Trade LifeCycle).
