Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Network Security Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and a passion for staying on top of the latest trends and developments in the field. As a Sr Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement secure network infrastructure for our clients, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices

- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvements

- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner

- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data

- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for mitigating risks

- Work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the network infrastructure

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other departments as needed

- Participate in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans

- Collaborate with external security vendors and service providers to ensure the security of our clients' networks

- Conduct regular training and awareness sessions for employees on network security best practices

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, preferably in a senior role

- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems

- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools

- Excellent understanding of network infrastructure and architecture

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security are highly desirable

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Experience working with clients in a managed services or outsourcing environment is a plus
